Job Purpose

The Media Strategic Specialist will drive Vueling's paid media strategy, executing and optimizing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms to enhance brand visibility, generate quality traffic, and maximize ROI.

Main Accountabilities

  1. Lead Vueling's media strategy, overseeing and challenging the media agency to deliver optimal media campaigns.
  2. Create and manage comprehensive paid media strategies across both digital and traditional platforms.
  3. Optimize campaigns in real-time and generate reports on performance and ROI.
  4. Identify trends and innovative opportunities for powerful campaigns that drive results.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

  1. Plan, execute, and manage paid media campaigns across multiple channels (digital and traditional).
  2. Collaborate with creative teams to ensure impactful, high-quality, and relevant campaigns.
  3. Implement A/B testing for digital campaigns and analyze the impact of offline campaigns.
  4. Monitor and adjust campaigns in real-time to improve performance and results.
  5. Develop strategies for multi-channel campaigns that target specific audiences and achieve marketing goals.
  6. Maintain close relationships with core media partners.
  7. Stay updated on the latest trends in both digital and traditional advertising, and analyze market and competitive data.

Main Relationships

  1. Internal Teams: Collaborates with the Creative and Campaign team, including campaign specialists, creative leads, and advertising agencies.
  2. Media Agencies: Leads and manages the media agency to achieve campaign success.
  3. Brand Strategy Team: Works closely with the team to conduct market research and competitive analysis.

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field (preferred).

Experience

  1. 7+ years of experience in managing paid media campaigns, both online and offline, in media agencies or a similar brand role.
  2. Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms and traditional media.
  3. Experience managing large advertising budgets and platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Blueprint.
  4. Strong leadership skills in managing media agencies and stakeholders.
  5. High-level creativity and an innovative mindset.
  6. Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data to optimize campaigns.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with creative teams and independently.
  8. Proactive, flexible, resilient under pressure, and detail-oriented.

Languages

English and Spanish fluency.
