Summary: We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to oversee the planning of our animal food products on one or more production lines, ensuring optimal utilization and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify order accuracy and feasibility.
- Optimize inventory levels and manage stock orders.
- Arrange production schedules considering delivery times, machine capacity, and efficiency.
- Calculate raw material and semi-finished goods requirements.
- Monitor stock positions and identify procurement shortfalls.
- Compile and release daily production orders and materials for production and warehouse teams.
- Track and consult on disruptions, proposing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and product development teams on maintenance scheduling and trial productions.
- Adapt and implement planning changes, discussing alternatives with superiors and stakeholders.
- Maintain and improve the planning software functionality.
