Focus Areas:

• Manufacturing (PTM): Quality Management, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Project Systems
• Procurement (PTP): Direct and indirect procurement of goods and services in a hub-spoke environment with centralized and decentralized purchasing

Location: Europe (Remote Possible)

Reports To:

Director of Global Application Management ERP systems

• Global and Regional Process Owners
• Data Stewards
• Business Departments and End Users
• Executive Management
• IT Service Providers & Offshore Teams

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Economics, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP S / 4 modules (PP, MM, QM, PM, PS).
• Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing business processes on SAP S / 4HANA, including hands-on configuration.
• Fluent in English, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing cross-functional teams and projects in an international environment.
• Change management experience, particularly in introducing new processes and systems.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Manufacturing Expertise:

• Material Master, Production Planning (MRP, BOMs, Recipes, Production Versions)
• Process and Planned Orders, Quality Management
• Plant Creation / Setup, Maintenance, and Project Systems

Procurement Expertise:

• Vendor and business partner management
• Contract lifecycle management
• Purchase requisitions and orders
• Service entry processing, goods receipt, and inventory management

Additional Skills:

• Hands-on SAP customization and end-to-end implementation experience. This role requires active problem-solving, configuration, and system optimization.
• Programming knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to lead workstreams within SAP implementation projects.
• Experience in 2nd-level support and translating business needs into technical change requests.
• Broad understanding of trends, technologies, and regulatory frameworks within manufacturing and procurement.
• Expertise in governing global SAP templates, ensuring scalability and consistency.
• Proven experience in global SAP rollouts, including strategy, execution, and post-implementation support.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Drive and optimize PTM and PTP practices aligned with corporate and business goals.
• Serve as a decision-maker for key process changes and promote best practices across the organization.

Process Optimization:

• Enhance business processes in collaboration with IT service providers and stakeholders.
• Expand SAP QM and EAM knowledge across Regional Process Owners and Key Users.

Project Management:

• Lead projects from requirements gathering to implementation and go-live.
• Manage cross-functional rollouts, ensuring module and regional alignment.
• Coordinate efforts among 3rd-party suppliers, AMS providers, and business users.

Governance and Rollout Management:

• Govern the global SAP template to ensure efficiency and alignment with business goals.
• Contribute to successful global SAP rollouts, ensuring integration across regions and modules.

Change Management:

• Introduce new processes and systems seamlessly, adhering to corporate standards.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration between users and IT teams.
