We are looking for a Senior Database System Engineer who will offer service to a multinational pharmaceutical company. Hybrid Model: 1 day on-site, 4 days remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide third-level support for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Automate database operations using Ansible.
  • Administer and support containerized environments and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of database operations.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, contributing to collaborative solution development.

Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration.
  • Proven track record in automating database operations using Ansible.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and a developer mindset.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
