The job holder would be in Murcia, Spain, where sits our biggest plant within the Group. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated H&S Assistant to join our team.

Your Mission

Respond to rigorous document control inherent to access control and the CTAIMA CAE system, complying with safety and health regulations. Promote and ensure a culture of safety, health, food hygiene, and environment.

  • Participate in weekly department meetings.
  • Conduct risk assessments based on measurements and technical reports to provide preventive measures to management that improve the quality of the environment and the safety of employees.
  • Investigate and record workplace injuries to identify causes and propose corrective actions to prevent their recurrence, monitoring and analyzing trends and critical points.
  • Participate in the reading of procedures, specific documents, and risk assessments to provide comments and improvements to these documents.
  • Promote the deployment of safety and health awareness activities through the development of effective communication initiatives and mechanisms that encourage safe work behavior and promote a culture of prevention.
  • Identify training and information needs required by position or activity to train, inform, and raise awareness among workers on safety and health matters, developing training activities that provide skills and attitudes for safe performance and analysis of potential occupational hazards.
  • Collaborate in Plant safety inspections to monitor and record possible irregularities.
  • Maintain control of PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment), their designation, and proper use.
  • Provide support to companies through CTAIMA, by guiding contractors on CAE (Business Activity Coordination) preventive management and calling CTAIMA to resolve CAE management issues. Answer contractor calls to explain any doubts in CAE prevention management at the Plant.
  • Review monthly / periodic documentation for active companies entering the plant, sending emails to each company to update documentation.

About you

  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Master's Degree in Integrated Management of Quality Systems, Environment and Safety and Health at Work with 3 specialties
  • Knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to HS
  • Preferably with experience in audits and management systems
  • Responsible, Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team work and communications Skills
