About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead and manage projects for Key Account clients looking for continuous improvements and their customer's satisfaction. You will manage multiple projects in parallel for a KA client with sites all over the world.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitate communication, and establish clear objectives and act as voice of the project both internally towards leadership and externally by becoming the main contact for the customer and a crucial role for fluent and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating the project team for a successful project execution, behaving as a role-model for the organization and client.
  • Achieving cost, time and quality (URS) according to the order compromised with the customer.
  • Managing the order from the moment in which it is issued until installation and acceptance at the customer site (SAT) is completed.
  • Developing and executing communication plan inside the company and towards the client, and promoting communication regarding project status and priorities inside the organization.
  • Developing and following up project schedule with the responsibility of effective resources allocation, and controlling project budgeted costs.
  • Identifying and developing the project risk plan and consequence mitigation plans, including the technical risks in collaboration with engineering department.
  • Monitoring performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource allocation to ensure on-time finalization according to specifications.

The position will be based in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Spain.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree and at least 5 years of relevant working experience in project management in the machinery, automotive, aeronautics or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Project Management official Training and PMI certification. PMP, Prince 2, Agile, Scrum, Kanban or Spring certifications will be a plus.
  • Experience in Lean methodologies. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent proficiency of Spanish, Catalan, and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong negotiation skills.
  • Proactivity, flexibility, and result-oriented mindset, strong sense of leadership.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Availability to travel worldwide (20-25% of the time).
