As a Safety Software Test Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our wind turbine software. You will focus on the development and execution of safety-critical tests while working in an international and interdisciplinary environment.

YOUR TASKS

  1. Develop, automate, and execute test routines for safety-critical software in wind turbine systems.
  2. Create and review technical documentation and test specifications in compliance with ISO 13849-2 and the Machinery Directive.
  3. Configure and utilize real-time simulation systems for testing safety functionalities.
  4. Enhance automated testing systems for regression tests during the software release process.
  5. Automate test routines using Exam MicroNova and Python.
  6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement and verify software specifications.

YOUR PROFILE

  1. Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Automation Technology.
  2. Solid knowledge of the Machinery Directive and ISO 13849-2 processes.
  3. Proficiency in Python; experience with Exam MicroNova is an advantage.
  4. Familiarity with Ethernet technology, bus systems, and real-time simulation systems.
  5. Certified software tester (e.g., ISTQB) is desirable.
  6. Fluent in English; skills in Spanish or German are advantageous.
