Job Description

At the Telco Hub in Madrid, we pioneer in merging IT and Telco, building Telco as a Platform (TaaP) on our proprietary cloud, serving Europe's top Operator. The Tribe Voice & Messaging team handles voice and messaging platforms throughout their lifecycle, integrating fixed and mobile systems into the cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Release Management: plan, test, coordinate, support, and execute rollouts.
  • Manage Incidents, Problems, Changes.
  • Develop and run automated tests using Jenkins / Cucumber.
  • Create automated test environments with Telekom frameworks.
  • Monitor and optimize operations, improving automation solutions.
  • Automate tasks with Ansible Tower, Python, Yaml, or similar tools.
  • Engage with vendors regularly.
  • Troubleshoot with tools like Wireshark.
  • Ensure compliance with Privacy and Security assessments.

Must-have skills:

  • In-depth VoIP knowledge (SIP, SDP, (s)RTP, Diameter, IMS, call-flow protocols).
  • Linux and Bash scripting (server admin, filesystem, package managers, scripting).
  • Experience with Private Cloud Architectures like Openstack.
  • Hands-on with IMS, Linux, Openstack platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Yaml, and MySQL.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins).
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and automation.
  • Knowledge of encryption and IT security principles.

Nice-to-have skills: German language skills are optional but beneficial.

Tools & Platforms: Linux, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Python/behave, Zabbix.
