Job Description:At La Casita de Inglés, we believe that learning should be fun We teach English to children through games, arts & crafts, singing and dancing, theatre, yoga, and baking. Most of the lesson planning is provided, with teachers tailoring ideas to fit weekly themes like outer space, sports, science, food, mindfulness, music, and nature. We do not conduct exams; teachers only fill out progress reports each trimester. Classes are small and interactive, with up to 8 children per class in our after-school program, occasionally reaching 10 for makeup sessions.
TasksThe after-school program runs Monday to Friday from 17:30 to 19:30 (15€/hour after tax) and Saturdays from 11:00 to 13:00 (20€/hour after tax). Teachers are not required to work every day but are preferred to commit to at least 2-3 shifts per week. Opportunities also exist for working in camps, workshops, and potential growth into managerial roles or organizing workshops using your hobbies or talents. There are permanent shifts starting September 2025 aligned with the new school year.
RequirementsWe seek fun, creative, and enthusiastic teachers who love working with children. Candidates must have at least six months of professional experience working with children (excluding babysitting or nannying) and possess either a perfect NATIVE English accent, a C2 English certificate, or an accent from any English-speaking country.
