Tasks in the roleWorking with our sales team, you will:
- Audit potential clients to identify SEO strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
- Use these insights to inform our sales team & contribute to pitch decks
- Join pitches with prospective clients
- Assist sales in building SEO roadmaps & pricing up projects accordingly for successful pitches
Working with our Customer Success team, you will:
- Assess client websites & develop SEO strategies to bring the greatest value to the client's business (covering technical, content, local, international SEO)
- Project manage client accounts, including weekly calls, QBRs, and monthly reporting sessions
- Ensure SEO projects are prioritized and facilitated (writing JIRA tickets, building processes, etc.)
- Produce SEO deliverables in line with overarching strategies, such as technical audits, content audits, reports, traffic analysis, and impact reviews
- Audit existing software-only clients to identify opportunities for SEO consultancy and upselling
- Educate the Customer Success team to identify opportunities for consultancy independently
- Provide industry insights (e.g., algorithm updates) for upselling opportunities
- Create briefs & coordinate SEO projects with freelancers
- Manage communication between clients and freelancers
- Ensure timely delivery of freelancer work and quality assurance
- Proven experience as an SEO consultant covering all pillars of SEO (at least 5 years)
- Experience managing large SEO accounts, ideally in a digital agency or large in-house team
- Experience pitching SEO services & responding to RFPs
- Experience with enterprise clients across various industries
- Strong skills in both content and technical SEO
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
