About The Job

Allianz Technology is rolling out a new global insurance platform. For this purpose, a Data Architect Lead is required to act in the interests of the business area, supporting the PO on the roadmap creation, requirements gathering, and building the bridge between the PO and the engineering team, including QAs, to set up testing scenarios and support their execution.

What You Do

  • Support the PO and help in designing solutions with the engineering team.
  • Work with business areas to identify improvements and define features in alignment with the PO.
  • Translate product epics and features into well-formatted user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and track the backlog based on business value, complexity, and expectations.
  • Collaborate with QA to define test cases, support data creation, and testing as needed.
  • Identify and analyze bugs, helping the team understand and fix them.
  • Support PO in preparing demos and planning sessions.

What You Bring

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in data modeling and designing data architecture.
  • Experience with databases such as Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Oracle, and data management systems like IDMC, Collibra, or Data Lineage.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with data warehouse automation tools like SQLDBM or DBT.
  • Experience building and maintaining ETLs.
  • Knowledge of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Experience working with security and IT teams to design data security architectures.
  • High capacity to learn and adapt in a continuously changing environment.
  • Experience with Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, or Redshift.
  • Desirable : experience working in IAM.
  • Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Organization or Information Technology.
  • High level of English proficiency.
