We are looking for an Embedded Systems Developer to join our team.

Tasks to be performed:

  1. Architectural design of low-level software development for microcontrollers, microprocessors, and SoC embedded in FPGAs.
  2. Design, development, verification, and validation of real-time embedded software for spacecraft equipment.
  3. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  4. Code version control and maintenance.
  5. Application of Agile Software Development techniques.

Required skills, experience, and candidate profile:

  1. University degree and/or PhD in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Physics.
  2. Three or more years of experience developing real-time embedded avionics or safety-critical software.
  3. Knowledge of computer architectures for SoC integration, particularly Versal, Zynq UltraScale+, ARM, RISC V, and/or Microblaze.
  4. Experience with Linux for embedded systems; programming in RT Linux and related development. Knowledge of other RTOS is an asset.
  5. Knowledge of version-control tools.
  6. Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.
  7. Open-minded and ready to be challenged in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, multinational environment.
  8. The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU and able to travel to the US.

Preferred skills:

  1. Knowledge of MIL/ECSS standards for software development.
  2. Knowledge of DO-178B.
  3. Experience managing network equipment (routers and switches).
  4. Knowledge of network administration or management protocols (SNMP, ICMP, VRRP, etc.).
