Senior System Administrator AIXAIX Expert

We are looking for professionals capable of operating and managing different Unix environments, mainly Linux and Solaris, including handling cases with vendors regarding incidents or investigations.

Knowledge of VMWare is necessary to create and decommission VMs in this environment. The service is managed via ServiceNow (ITSM tools). The candidate must have strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively in an international project team.

Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years of experience as an administrator on AIX platforms
  • More than 2 years of experience as an administrator in Linux (RHEL)
  • Extensive troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with IBM platforms
  • More than 1 year of experience working with virtual platforms (VMWare)
  • Ability to collaborate with different technical groups
  • Ability to communicate effectively with end clients
  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy)
  • Scripting skills, especially with Ansible
  • Experience with high-availability (HA) platforms
