The Agile Delivery Center Spain @ Capgemini is still growing thanks to new and innovative international projects from our important customers who place their trust in us every day. We are an Agile Delivery center based in Valencia and Murcia. We work with large international clients on innovative application development projects, following a distributed agile model across Europe.

We are looking for Software Engineers with at least 3 years of experience in software development projects, fluent in French, passionate about technology, and interested in being involved in a high-tech talent ecosystem within a multicultural environment, characterized by an active, dynamic, and open-minded culture.

As Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions/applications, specializing in .NET (C#) technologies. You will work in a multidisciplinary and international environment with cutting-edge technologies. In Agile environments, you will collaborate on the continuous improvement of development processes.

In our teams, a Software Engineer applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. He/she is responsible for researching and acquiring knowledge in their technical discipline. He/she collaborates with and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

The Software Engineer develops skills and expertise within their software discipline to meet the standard expectations for their role, as defined in our internal Professional Communities.

• Developing and maintaining Software:Create and maintain high-quality Software Applications using Java and related technologies. Participate in developing the most complex functionalities.
• Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver robust software solutions.
• Code Reviews:Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security. Supervise developments carried out by the team. Disseminate best practices and development processes.
• Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve software engineering practices. Propose improvements in application development.
• Technical Leadership:Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding and design. Help the team identify pending work in a project.

Has more than two years of relevant work experience. Solid understanding of programming concepts, software design, and development principles. Works independently with minimal supervision, producing accurate and reliable results. Able to handle a range of tasks and problems, applying skills and knowledge effectively. Manages own time to meet deadlines and works cooperatively with others to achieve team goals, making decisions based on understanding of the situation.

• Proficiency in C# and .NET: Extensive experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core. Proficiency in C# and VB.NET. Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
• Software Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies such as Scrum.
• Database Management: Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Testing and Debugging: Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging using tools like MSTest, NUnit, and xUnit.
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git, GitLab, GitHub.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. Fluent in French to communicate with teams and customers.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
