We're looking for a passionate Java Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure backend systems powering cutting-edge healthcare apps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Java development with demonstrated healthcare domain knowledge.
• 4+ years of experience with modular development on AWS.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and interoperability frameworks.
• Knowledge of security best practices for handling protected health information (PHI) and other sensitive data.
• Experience with containerization technologies and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of powerful, modular backend services for our digital health platform (content, consent, workflows, remote monitoring, messaging, etc)
• Build secure, scalable APIs and systems that connect services seamlessly and handle complex healthcare data with ease.
• Leverage cutting-edge dev tools that automate code, testing, and technical requirements.
• Design high-performance databases and federated data models to manage massive clinical and consumer data sets.
• Champion security and compliance (FHIR, HIPAA, HITECH), including robust auth systems and secure API endpoints.
• Partner with front-end teams for smooth integration and exceptional user experience.
• Create reliable monitoring and logging systems, and build thorough test suites to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with EHR and third-party platforms to deliver connected healthcare solutions.
• Review code, share best practices, and jump in to troubleshoot production issues when needed.
