What would your responsibilities be?
Brand Management :- Manage brands on a national level, focusing on brand building for an assigned group of brands in the Iberian Market (Spain and Portugal).
- Develop brand strategies based on market and client insights, recommending adjustments to central guidelines for local market needs, and contribute to the annual brand planning process in Iberia with hands-on expertise on consumer and category trends.
- Lead brand building initiatives to maximize distribution and visibility, increase sales, and implement brand activities in trade channels, including POS and on-trade actions. Foster and expand customer relationships to strengthen the company's position and the brands.
- Manage projects related to image and awareness development for the assigned brands across Spain and Portugal.
- Coordinate all projects in Iberia concerning image and awareness development, ensuring complex project management.
- Handle communication across all touchpoints with clients, including digital presence, collaboration with local KOLs, POSM, merchandising units, and cross-channel production.
- Recommend brand initiatives aligned with key consumption moments, utilizing media, events, sponsorships, and public relations to meet objectives like trial and education.
- Implement trade marketing plans for specific brands, ensuring excellent coordination with sales teams and customers.
- Plan, execute, and report on on-trade activities.
- Understand shopper, consumer, and customer behavior at the point of sale.
- Act as a link between the brand owner and sales team to align brand needs with channel strategies.
- Facilitate communication of customer needs from sales to brand owners.
- Participate in commercial and marketing strategies.
- Continuously seek activity improvements.
- Monitor competitor activities across channels.
- Educate, inspire, and engage internal and external teams.
- Develop precise plans and toolkits for the on-trade channel.
- Lead a team of two members.
- Empower the team to achieve brand objectives.
- Align team efforts with organizational sales goals.
- Monitor team performance and execution.
- Regularly monitor and report on A&P spending, consumer pricing, project execution, sales, and performance metrics.
- At least three years of experience in brand management or trade marketing, with a proven track record of working closely with sales teams on digital projects, trade marketing, PR, and events.
- Knowledge of the premium wines and spirits industry or on-trade channels is highly desirable.
- Strong business planning skills; capable of analyzing, planning, organizing, executing, and evaluating projects independently.
- Experience in trade activities, execution, and planning, including developing toolkits for sales teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams to achieve results and to share knowledge constructively.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Willingness to travel for brand events, activations, and market visits with sales teams.
