The Socioeconomic Impact Assessment Group (Department of Economics) at University of Alcalá is seeking a motivated and skilled part-time Technician or Consultant to support our team in tasks related with, automated data collection, website maintenance, and dissemination activities.

• Duration: 3 years, part-time (10-20 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up of automated data collection and curation systems.
• Operation and maintenance of IT servers.
• Support with project acquisition, consortium building and writing of project proposals
• Website maintenance, including updates and content management.
• Support in dissemination tasks, such as managing digital content and communications.

Required Skills:

• Automated data collection and curation, data analysis.
• Expertise in sustainability assessment, energy systems and emerging technologies
• Experience with the successful writing of project proposals and acquisition of funding
• Management of dissemination activities, particularly in a research context.
• Digital communication tools and platforms, web design and website maintenance.
• Web design and online data visualization, html and WordPress, webhosting.
