Position: Procurement Engineer
Location: Barcelona
This role involves working with the global Procurement team. Your responsibilities include:
- Driving ESG strategies and activities with suppliers, such as PCF calculations.
- Supporting strategic purchasing with technical expertise, trends, and industry analyses.
- Contributing to the design and implementation of product strategies and roadmaps with suppliers.
- Leading process management for change notifications from suppliers.
- Managing sourcing of sample materials in collaboration with other departments.
- Serving as the technical interface for suppliers, R&D, Product Management, and Quality in Procurement.
Candidate Profile:
- Technical degree (physics, electrical engineering, or similar) or comparable training, preferably with a focus on semiconductors.
- Relevant experience in a technical environment and familiarity with tools.
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to solve complex issues in global, cross-functional teams.
- Availability to travel approximately once per quarter.
- Fluent in English.
