Solutions & Decisions is looking for a Global Supply Planner for Puig, a leader in the beauty and fragrance industry, located in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.

Mission

To ensure the availability of finished and semi-finished products across the network, meeting quality, cost, stock levels, and service requirements. This will be achieved through the Master Production Schedule and the Distribution Requirements Plan, based on demand analysis, order portfolio, stock policies, capacity of production and third-party suppliers, and critical materials availability. The role also involves defining and implementing stock policies to reach desired stock and service levels.

ResponsibilitiesPlanning
  • Define global inventory policies aligned with manufacturing batch policies.
  • Coordinate inventory policies and replenishment principles with local supply planners.
  • Calculate and review the Distribution Requirements Plan (DRP) considering sales forecasts and stock policies.
  • Develop the Master Production Schedule (MPS), considering demand, stock policies, and manufacturing/purchasing policies.
  • Run the Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) to adapt MPS to capacity constraints and identify risks.
  • Evaluate alternatives and establish contingency plans to ensure key references' availability.
  • Co-lead the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, providing insights on risks, capacity, and materials.
  • Maintain stock levels across locations in accordance with Group Policies.
  • Analyze obsolete or low-rotation stocks and propose reusability solutions.
  • Coordinate product repacking to optimize stock and service levels.
Execution
  • Create and launch production orders based on manufacturing batches and policies.
  • Calculate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for each reference.
  • Provide weekly production plans based on available capacity and resources.
  • Execute replenishment orders to subsidiaries.
  • Prepare Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) scenarios for S&OP decisions.
  • Maintain data accuracy in supporting systems.
Control
  • Monitor stock availability and supply issues across the network.
  • Review production plans periodically, manage capacity conflicts, and update plans as needed.
  • Communicate and provide feedback to the Demand Planning team.
  • Review resource capacity usage and critical materials availability.
  • Track actual production versus planned, and shipments to Puig locations.
  • Implement finished product stock policies and monitor stock levels, proposing actions to maintain desired levels.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Supply Planning.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, Economics, or related fields.
  • Knowledge: Supply Chain Management, Supply Planning tools (DRP, MPS, MRP, RCCP).
