About the Role
The Product Manager must leverage scientific expertise to ensure the achievement of the objectives set for the Business Line and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape tactics, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the launch of new products: market research, positioning, competition, publications, and value proposition.
- Maintain constant contact with represented companies, communicating forecasts, technical issues, incidents, and product information.
- Hold regular follow-up meetings and attend Distributor's trainings.
- Stay updated on market needs and competitor analysis.
- Provide the commercial network with necessary arguments to counter objections from competitors and customers based on the value-selling method.
- Prepare necessary marketing material: brochures, catalogs, and presentations.
- Prepare product information necessary for each case, such as product registrations, technical data sheets, safety files, inserts, and anything else mandatory.
- Prepare and participate in Workshops, Congresses, Scientific Sessions, and other events.
- Encourage the evaluation of products to generate scientific articles.
- Participate in the preparation of tenders, writing the technical part in collaboration with the Sales Application Specialist and tenders department.
- Keep all data in the computer system (SAP) up to date to guarantee the reliability of the zGP.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A University Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology is desirable, with a focus on Molecular Biology, Oncology, or Genetics.
Experience:
- Experience working in a research laboratory or promoting products in the applied science environment.
Additional Skills/Knowledge:
- Language: Spanish and English; Fluent Portuguese desirable.
Valuable Assets:
- Specific training in Marketing or Sales.
- 2-3 minimum years of experience in Research, Health Care Sector, or IVD Industry.
- Experience and knowledge in Digital PCR.
Skills & Capabilities:
He/She worries about being permanently updated in terms of product knowledge and market. He/She shows enthusiasm and passion for the products of its Business Line, spreading to the commercial network the desire to know better the products and solutions that we offer. Great knowledge of the market and competition, sharing this information with the commercial network to enhance communication between the different partners that the Company has with the Customer.
Travel Requirements: Up to 30% of time.
