The Product team for Warehouse Management focuses on the consulting, implementation, and support of warehouse management solutions based on SAP.

In this role, you will work together with a team of warehouse consultants, using your experience and skillset to provide design, creation, development, and optimization of warehouse management processes for Warehouse Management solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Working in an agile DevOps environment, maintaining strong communication with the team.
  2. Enable and support our internal business partners to achieve BASF business goals by providing best-in-class IT and digitalization solutions.
  3. Define the solution and technical design based on business requirements.
  4. Contribute to project planning and cost estimations.
  5. Prepare and conduct user training.
  6. Understand and independently customize SAP EWM specific processes and know the integration points with other SAP Modules (MM, SD, FI, CO, TM, PP, etc.).
  7. Demonstrate interpersonal skills and show a team player attitude.
  8. Have the willingness to develop new professional skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  2. Ideally, extensive knowledge of logistics processes.
  3. Sound experience with SAP WM / EWM including customizing and knowledge of other SAP modules, ideally with practical experience in the Solution Manager and S / 4 HANA.
  4. Basic or advanced ABAP debugging knowledge is an advantage.
  5. Experience in at least one of the following SAP solutions (priority on order):
  6. SAP Extended Warehouse Management
  7. SAP WM / Stock Room Management
  8. SAP LE (Logistics Execution)
  9. SAP MM (Inventory Management)

NICE TO HAVE

  1. Experience with additional SAP modules, crossing with Warehouse Management SD, TM, PP, QM, MM.
  2. Generally good technical understanding (e.g., SAP interfaces).
  3. Scanning.
  4. Printing.
  5. Labeling.
