Job Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and driven Senior Marketing Associate / Assistant Marketing Manager to execute Buy&Ship Philippines' marketing efforts. In this role, you will specialize in creating, managing, and optimizing content tailored for customer relationship management (CRM) campaigns and blog channels. This role focuses on enhancing customer engagement and retention by crafting compelling blog posts, newsletters, push notifications, and targeted email campaigns that drive brand loyalty and engagement. Working closely with the regional and local teams, this individual will ensure that all content aligns with the brand's voice and objectives.

You will be pivotal in driving brand growth, increasing awareness, and forming meaningful demand-driven partnerships. You will execute impactful marketing strategies that enhance brand equity, build customer loyalty, and achieve ambitious growth objectives.

Working in a fast-paced startup environment, you will be responsible for hands-on execution of the exciting initiatives and projects that you formulate along with your team members in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation for Blogs:
    • Write, edit, and publish engaging blog articles tailored to target audience interests, including product insights, industry trends, and educational content.
    • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to increase blog visibility and drive organic traffic.
    • Maintain a blog content calendar to plan topics in alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal themes.
  2. Email Marketing and CRM campaigns:
    • Create, design, and manage content for CRM campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and customer onboarding series.
    • Segment email lists and develop personalized content strategies to activate users, retain customers, and increase engagement.
    • Track email performance (e.g., open rates, CTR) and A/B test subject lines, content layouts, and calls-to-action to improve results.
  3. Content Optimization and Reporting:
    • Analyze blog and CRM metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversion) to understand content performance and refine strategies.
    • Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM platform insights) to track success and create monthly reports on key metrics.
    • Optimize content based on insights to improve reach, engagement, and conversions across both blog and CRM channels.
  4. Customer-Centric Content Strategy:
    • Collaborate with both regional and local teams to understand customer needs, pain points, and preferences for crafting targeted messaging.
    • Develop content that supports the customer journey and lifecycle stages, from acquisition to retention and loyalty.
    • Monitor CRM and blog trends and competitor activities to keep content fresh and relevant.
    • Work with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and product, to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment.
    • Coordinate with the customer support team to address FAQs and customer insights through blog and email content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience with a strong focus on content marketing.
  • Stronghold on startups and fast-paced environments with experience in cross-border e-commerce and online shopping.
  • Proven ability to execute successful marketing campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Philippine media landscape and influencer marketing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
