The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline, integrating various components into our Bitbucket repository, and managing the release process. This role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Improve design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.

Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable releases.

- Repository Integration:

Integrate various components into Bitbucket repositories.

Manage version control and ensure proper version control practices are defined and followed.

- Release Management:

Plan and manage the release process, ensuring that releases are timely and of high quality.

Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

- Monitoring and Logging:

Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track application performance and health.

Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery

Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to resolve issues quickly.

- Automation:

Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.

Develop scripts and tools to automate various aspects of the development and deployment process.

Requirements

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have Skills:

- Experience with data warehousing, ETL and business intelligence applications

- Experience with agile methodologies and practices.

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools

Required Experience:

- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

- Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins

- Experience with version control systems, particularly Bitbucket.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
