This Challenge Awaits YouNowadays the control of modern powertrains has reached challenging levels of complexity. To unlock further potentials in terms of fuel/energy consumption, emissions, product costs, and on-board diagnostics, new ideas and approaches are required. We are looking for employees for our new location in Martorell, Spain, which we are currently setting up for customer projects. If you want to continue working in the field of thermodynamics, combustion engines, and/or deal with complex powertrain control systems in interdisciplinary teams after completing your studies or doctorate, you can expect diverse activities in a versatile area of responsibilities.
Your Tasks- Define the calibration strategy, methodology, and tool chain.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate tests.
- Calibrate control units.
- Conduct development and validation measurements on mechatronic systems.
- Evaluate test results for quality and maturity level.
- Prepare and present results in reports (internal/external).
- Maintain audit-proof backup of calibration records.
- Continuously develop calibration methodology, guidelines, and automation processes.
- Completed STEM studies with relevant project and development experience in the engineering domain.
- Proficiency in English.
- Driving license B/BE.
- Knowledge of processes and system understanding.
- Domain-specific specialist knowledge.
- Experience with simulation, automation, and data analysis tools.
- Understanding of laws and standards.
- Analytical thinking and a solution-oriented, independent working style.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Responsibility, adaptability, customer orientation, motivation to perform and learn.
