During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our application development team in BARCELONA.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, use cases, user stories, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet quality standards and business expectations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance platform functionality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in application development or HCM projects.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Experience with data analysis and modeling, including familiarity with SQL or similar querying tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• English is a must.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HR software solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with API integrations and microservices architecture.
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA) is a plus.
