OUR TEAM
You will become part of our SOUTH HUB team based in Malaga (Spain), a function in charge of maintaining, developing, and ensuring high quality, efficient and relevant internal and external reporting for all the entities run by the SOUTH HUB. It’ll be a dynamic environment, proactive and collaborative, with a global mindset and willingness to improve internal processes. Working in close cooperation with our international Group Finance function and local Business Partners, you will gain a Finance network to collaborate with.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
As Accountant for the South HUB, you will be a key team member of the finance team carrying out core finance tasks for BESTSELLER Wholesale and Retail entities in Spain, France, Italy and Portugal.
- Responsible for bank processes, payments, vendor management and vendor statements reconciliation
- Lead and monitor the Record-to-Reporting (RtR) process in alignment with Group Finance guidelines
- In charge of several tasks during the month-end and year-end close processes for the legal entities based in Spain, France, Italy and Portugal
- Complete internal controls documentation
- Key contact with local Finance teams and build specific country business understanding
- Collaborate with the other HUBs and Finance community to identify areas to gain efficiencies
- Implementing harmonised processes across countries
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information
YOUR PROFILE
As Accountant you pay attention to details, take responsibility for getting the job done, collaboratively works to deliver high quality information on tight deadlines, and take pride in providing solutions. You are excellent at building relationships across the business, thrive with freedom under responsibility and motivated to see results. You have proven experience as Accountant. You have good knowledge of processes and systems and a curious mindset.
Being fluent in spoken and written English is a prerequisite (French, Italian and/or Portuguese will be an advantage). Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA will be an advantage as well.
