As a Global Project Manager (GPM), you will be a catalyst for redefining how we deliver impactful diagnostic solutions. Currently, the GPM role is focused on operational support, but we are seeking individuals eager to help evolve it into a more strategic partnership, driving value and influencing outcomes at all levels.
At Roche, we’re on a journey to elevate the role of Global Project Managers to become critical drivers of strategy and execution. In this role, you will be expected to move beyond traditional operational tasks and actively shape the success of our projects and teams.
Your main responsibilities will include:- Strategic partner: Act as a trusted partner, connecting teams and stakeholders to enable informed decisions and align project outcomes with strategic goals.
- Project execution: Define timelines, manage resources and budgets, and optimize workflows while ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
- Collaboration: Build strong team dynamics through coaching, trust, and knowledge-sharing, fostering continuous improvement across the organization.
- Data-driven decisions: Provide high-quality planning data to support scenario analysis, portfolio decisions, and project transparency.
- Leadership in Agile environments: Partner with RTEs and program leads to drive outcome releases, mitigate risks, and overcome bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery.

Minimum Qualifications- Experience: Minimum of 3 years leading complex projects in diagnostics, medical devices, or biotech. Strong knowledge of regulated environments (e.g., FDA 21 CFR, ISO 13485) would be an asset.
- Expertise: Advanced skills in project management tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, AHA) and certifications such as SAFe or PMP are preferred.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver measurable outcomes with strong business acumen.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Mindset: High emotional intelligence and the ability to inspire teams while fostering operational excellence.
