Part-time, permanent, live-out nanny, Spanish and English speaking, Castelldefels, Barcelona International Nanny is supporting a private family in Castelldefels in recruiting a part-time, live-out nanny. We work exclusively in private childcare, and this position is strictly child-focused. Housekeeping is not required.Location:Castelldefels, Barcelona, SpainStart date:ASAPSchedule:Afternoons, 20 hours per week. The exact days and timings are to be confirmed with the family.Children:Three school-aged boys, ages 11, 10, and 7Accommodation:Live outDriver:Ideally, the nanny has her own car for commuting home after the shiftRole overview This is a calm, structured afternoon role supporting the after-school period and early evening routine. Both parents are busy professionals and may be at home for part of the shift. The nanny should feel comfortable working independently when needed and collaborating with the parents as they join and leave the routine.The family values consistency, good manners, and healthy daily habits. They are looking for a nanny who is active, sporty, and naturally aligned with a balanced, health-conscious lifestyle.Duties and responsibilities The role will include:Supporting the after-school routine and supervising homework where appropriateManaging activities and logistics in the afternoons, including collections where neededPlanning age-appropriate activities and downtime, keeping the afternoons smooth and organisedSupporting the evening routine as requiredKeeping the children’s spaces in good order, including bedrooms, play areas, school items, and sports kitPlanning ahead for activities and family travel, including packing for the children when requiredAssisting with child-centred events when requested, such as birthday planning support and practical arrangementsCandidate requirementsFluent in Spanish and EnglishA professional, career nanny with proven experience supporting school-aged childrenExcellent, checkable referencesConfident with routines, boundaries, and a respectful approach to behaviour and mannersNaturally organised and proactive, with the ability to anticipate what is neededComfortable working in a household where parents may be presentActive, health-conscious, and confident, supporting an active lifestyleLegal right to work in SpainUp-to-date police check, and paediatric first aid is strongly preferredIdeally, a confident driver, and ideally with a car for commutingHow to apply To apply, please register and complete your profile via our website.
