Your new team

We are a medium-sized, globally distributed design team dedicated to the Language Learning sector of Pearson, with its multiple product families and diverse audience. We work across UX/UI Design, UX Writing, UX Research, and Service Design.

Role overview

You'll collaborate daily with product managers, researchers, engineers, and QA in an agile environment to deliver user-centric solutions. You'll take part in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to testing and implementation ensuring accessible and seamless user experiences. The key skills required include:

  1. Translating product briefs into tangible artefacts: Ability to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes.
  2. Strong UI and interaction design skills: Ability to design both static and dynamic components.
  3. Responsive design skills: Experience designing responsive web layouts across various screen sizes.
  4. Knowledge of Design Systems: Familiarity with design systems and maintaining consistency across products.
  5. Proficiency in Figma: Expert in using Figma for design and prototyping.
  6. Ability to translate research into actionable insights: Skilled in interpreting UX research and analytics.
  7. Adaptability: Open to feedback and iterative design processes.
  8. Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other designers and cross-functional teams.
