We are seeking a Retail Functional Consultant who will be directly responsible for assisting our Retail Clients by using consulting skills, retail business knowledge, and software solution expertise.

The position is based in Barcelona and/or Pamplona (Spain)

Position responsibilities:

Be a reference Retail Senior Functional Consultant within the Services Unit:

  1. Participate in our company's project delivery involving functional gap analysis, business transformation, software configuration, customer training, solution rollout, and post-go-live support.
  2. Provide subject-matter expertise to clients implementing our solutions, ensuring functional knowledge, guidance, and instruction on solutions and methodologies are always adequately managed.
  3. Ensure the execution of the deliverables in the areas of your responsibility satisfies high-quality standards and is done according to the scope of the project.
  4. Act as our company's representative in front of end clients and partners in projects assigned, ensuring a best-in-class delivery of implementation and development services.

Actively participate in Business Development tasks:

  1. Contribute to the preparation of commercial offers together with the respective Services Director or Project Manager.
  2. Identify business opportunities/services extensions in projects assigned and take ownership to convert them into new deals.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position requirements:

  1. Has a BS or MS in Management or equivalent.
  2. Has 3+ years of experience in Retail software package implementation involving functional gap analysis, business transformation, software configuration, etc.
  3. Has a solid technical background, with relevant experience in software consultancy roles.
  4. Has demonstrable knowledge and experience in using project management (PMP, Prince, ...) and software development (Agile, ...) methodologies, where being certified is a plus.
  5. Is a team player, with natural leadership skills, very proactive, and able to work autonomously.
  6. Is a person who is flexible and adapts rapidly as needed in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Has excellent Client communication skills, used to working in a client setting.
  8. Is fully proficient to work in at least English, Spanish, and French.
  9. Has availability to travel as required for the success of the business.
  10. Is a strong analytical thinker with a focus on project delivery, strong organization, planning, and time management skills.
  11. Has 3+ years of experience in international consulting services and development roles in the Retail and ERP space. Has a track record of success in overseeing/participating in multiple consulting projects, across industries and geographies.
