Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Introduction to the vacant position: The Bioinspired Interactive Materials and Protocellular Systems Research Group is looking for a Laboratory Assistantto give managerial and technical support in the development of nanobiomaterials and in our pioneering work on synthetic cells for medicine. The contract will be within the framework of PhagoSynCell,( Funded by the European Union, Project 101170207). Main tasks and responsibilities: To give administrative support to the whole group (orders, purchases, trips) To be the link with IBEC service units To create, update and maintain the databases To maintain order and cleanliness in the laboratory To provide technical support to research group members for the development of nanobiomaterials To give support to researchers about standard processes as part of experiments To orient the new incorporations about basic technical issues Requirements for candidates: Essential: Degree in physical science, chemistry or engineering Experience in laboratory of engineering, chemistry or physics. Willingness to be part of a highly interdisciplinary and diverse team Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork and collaboration,Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
