At ING we are looking for a Trade Finance Service Expert Your role and work environment:We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Trade Finance Services Expert (TFS Expert) to join our WB CSD Lending and Ops Team of BW CSDThe responsibility of this team is the management of Trade Finance Services Products, Bank Guarantees and SBLCs, and our way of working is focused on the comprehensive process ( E2E process ) with close relationship with Corporate Clients and Clients based on ING Network.Your key responsibilities:As a TFS Expert you will:Positively contribute to Growth of Business via support to TFS business.Delivery of Bank Guarantees, - Drafting, reviewing and analyzing guarantee and SBLCs wordings issue,amend and renewals of domestic and cross-border guarantee/SBLCs, , contact with customer, handling commissions.With each issuance or amendment, you will be responsible to check that it meets the approved conditions by risk and the parameters set in the guarantee contract.To structure and discuss the counter guarantee when the issuance in a different country than Spain and Portugal will be made by a third bank.Monitoring of the portfolio of guarantees.Screening and checks for compliance purposes and related reports Booking into local core banking systems and reconciliation supportActing as customer contact point and handling customer requests.Able to structure and advise on complex Trade related transactions. Brings ideas on how to improve and refine the Trade Finance processes.Keeps up to date with industry developments relating to Trade Finance business.Provide support/expertise to areas of business by taking the lead and being responsible such as but not limited to organizational/operational/process management tasks.Guided participation in projects (process- and system improvement, training, and engagement activities).Back ground in other Trade Finance products like Export and Import Documentary Credits or Collections will be consideredAd hoc testing of trade finance system applications as per group requirements at any given timeTo be able to work and be exposed to a complex, dynamic and international financial environment with a close relation to the day-to-day Trade Finance business What are we looking for?Wholesale Banking / TFS experience (at least 2-3 years in a similar role and with knowledge in URDGs 758 and ISP 98.Passion to build and manage client relationships.Strong organizational, planning and time management skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written (additional language is a bonus, but not required)Possess drive with a ‘can do’ attitude.Team player / ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.Consistently achieve results, even under difficult circumstances and an ability to prioritize.Focus on delivery on time with attention to detail.Recognize important information, ability to research and make connections.With ability to foster a collaborative working relationship with multiple functional areas, operational areas and complex business lines.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to adapt in a changing environment.Understands and acts in accordance with the ING Wholesale Banking strategy.Provide guidance to junior resources.Contributes on the process improvements.Works under moderate level of guidance and directionWhat do we offer?The time you spend at work, the challenges you face or the lessons you get are very important, but… What about your personal life?
