This role will oversee accounting, monthly/annual closes, tax, treasury, consolidated reporting, and internal controls, while managing the Spain-based finance team and collaborating closely with a small finance team in the US.Work model:On-site Monday–Thursday (Madrid office) +Home-based on Fridays. This is a hands-on, operational finance role within a growing hospitality investment and development company.Key ResponsibilitiesLead general accounting, monthly/annual closes, audits, and tax compliance. Manage treasury, liquidity planning, and cash-flow forecasting. Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reporting to senior leadership. Supervise and support the Accounting Manager, improving accuracy and internal controls. Coordinate with the small US finance team on consolidation, reporting, and SPV oversight. Oversee the financial performance of multiple SPVs and development projects. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring. Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.What We’re Looking For8–12 years of experience across accounting, audit, reporting, and financial control. Strong experience with month-end/year-end close, consolidation, tax, and compliance. Background in Big Four audit + industry is highly valued. Experience supervising accounting/finance teams. Knowledge of SPVs, multi-entity structures, and consolidated reporting. Proficiency with ERPs (SAP, Navision, Netsuite, etc.). Full professional proficiency in English (essential).
