Well Performance Analysis & Optimization Conductdetailed well performance analysisusingproduction data, pressure surveys, and decline curvesto identify optimization opportunities. Develop and implementproduction enhancement strategies, including: Artificial lift optimization(e.g., ESP, gas lift, rod pumps). Well stimulation and workover programs(e.g., acidizing, hydraulic fracturing, matrix treatments). Flow assurance management(e.g., wax, scale, hydrate prevention). Utilizeproduction engineering software(e.g.,OLGA,PROSPER, GAP, PIPESIM) to model and optimize well and flowline performance. 2. Flowline & Network Optimization Analyzeflowline and gathering system performance, identifyingbottlenecks, pressure drops, and efficiency losses. Optimizepipeline and manifold configurationsto minimize energy consumption and maximize throughput. Implementintegrated production system modelingto balance well and network performance. 3. Production System Design & Integration Design and evaluateproduction systems, including: Well completions and tubing sizingfor optimal flow. Surface facility integration(e.g., separators, manifolds, metering systems). Production chemistry management(e.g., corrosion inhibition, scale control, emulsion breaking). Ensurecompatibility between well performance and surface facility constraints. 4. Data Analysis & Digital Tools Leveragereal-time production data, SCADA systems, and IoT sensorsto monitor well and flowline performance. Developpredictive analytics and digital twinsfor production optimization. ImplementAI/ML toolsto forecast production declines and recommend interventions. 5. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence Ensurecompliance with industry standards(e.g.,API, ISO, NORSOK) andlocal/regional regulations(e.g., Spanish/EU environmental and safety laws). Maintaindocumentation for audits, permits, and regulatory reporting. SupportHSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) compliancein production operations. 6. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely withreservoir engineers, geoscientists, and operations teamsto align production strategies with reservoir management plans. Liaise withmaintenance, integrity, and HSE teamsto ensure safe and reliable operations. Represent production engineering incross-functional meetings, technical reviews, and client presentations. 7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Identify and implementnew technologies and best practicesfor production optimization (e.g., smart wells, automated choke control, digital monitoring). Leadpilot projects and field trialsfor emerging production technologies. Developstandard operating procedures (SOPs)andbest practicesfor well and flowline management. 8. Reporting & Knowledge Sharing Preparetechnical reports, production forecasts, and performance dashboardsfor management and stakeholders. Documentlessons learned, case studies, and technical guidelinesfor knowledge sharing. Train and mentorjunior engineers and operations staffon production optimization techniques.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Experience: 10+ years of experience in production engineering, with a focus onwell and flowline optimization. 5+ years in a senior or leadership role(e.g., Senior Production Engineer, Well Performance Engineer). Experience inoil & gas upstream operations, production optimization, or facility engineeringis highly preferred. Familiarity withInternational/EU regulations and industry standards(e.g., API, ISO). Technical Skills: Well performance analysis(e.g., nodal analysis, decline curve analysis). Artificial lift systems(ESP, gas lift, rod pumps, PCP). Flow assurance and production chemistry(wax, scale, hydrates, corrosion). Production system modeling(PROSPER, GAP, PIPESIM, OLGA). Data analytics and digital tools(SCADA, IoT, AI/ML for production forecasting). Regulatory compliance and HSE standardsin production operations. Soft Skills: Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellentcommunication, collaboration, and mentoring skills. Ability towork in multidisciplinary teamsandmanage complex technical projects. Languages: Fluent in English(mandatory). French or Arabicis a plus (for international projects).
