Your responsibilities and impact as the Lead Accountant will include:

  1. Managing daily accounting operations for France and multiple European markets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  2. Overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes for assigned markets.
  3. Preparing detailed financial reports and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions.
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Europe.
  5. Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions.
  6. Supporting payroll, tax filings, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  7. Assisting in system implementations and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Skills, qualifications, and interests needed to succeed in this role:

  1. Fluency in English + a native/bilingual level of French.
  2. Degree in accounting, business administration, economics, or similar.
  3. Experience in FR GAAP.
  4. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting roles across European markets.
  5. Experience in team management.
  6. Strong knowledge of ERPs (SAP, SAGE, Navision, or similar) and Excel.
  7. Interest and ability to multitask in a multidisciplinary environment.
  8. Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict reporting deadlines.
