This center of expertise will provide a structured framework for identifying high-impact (Gen)AI use cases and developing and testing prototypes for the different Operating Companies.Key Responsibilities Build Innovative Solutions: Develop AI solutions from scratch, leveraging artificial intelligence to solve real-world business challenges.Integrate AI Across Businesses: Collaborate with Operating Companies within Bunzl Continental Europe to implement AI solutions.Be an AI Advocate and Trainer: Empower teams by training them on how to effectively use AI technologies, fostering innovation and skill development across the organization.Maintain and Enhance Systems: Ensure current applications remain optimized, scalable, and aligned with modern technology standards.Required Experience/Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written). Additional languages are a plus.Technical Skills:Experience in development using Node.jsProficiency in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.Familiarity with general AI tools and concepts (preferred but not mandatory). A passion for learning and applying AI technologies is essential.Soft Skills:Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.Proactive and passionate about driving technological innovation.Residency: Based in Spain, preferably Valencia or East Spain, or willing to travel to Valencia a few days per month as needed for in-person meetings or projects.
