Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.YOUR MISSIONThe Ground Station Engineer is responsible for designing, assembling, and maintaining ground station systems using commercial components and software-defined radios (SDRs).He/She also supports integration with external Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) providers and ensure reliable communication links.This role enables the company’s objective to scale a robust and flexible ground segment for NB-IoT connectivity.YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS Design and integrate ground station hardware using commercial off-the-shelf components. Configure and maintain RF modems, antennas, and communication infrastructure. Supports integration with external Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) providers, including modem compatibility and ensures reliable communication links service. Lead the deployment of the ground station product, ensuring smooth transition to operations: configuration, process definition, and documentation. REQUIREMENTS Degree in Telecommunications, Aerospace, or related Engineering disciplines. Strong knowledge of RF systems, satellite links (Ka, S-band), and modulation schemes. Experience configuring ground station modems, antennas, and RF front-end components. Familiarity with Linux systems, scripting (Python/Bash), and networking fundamentals. NICE TO HAVE Hands-on experience with SDR tools (e.g., GNU Radio).
