Programmatic Specialist (AdOps), Full Time, ESOP

AudioStack is looking for an Programmatic Specialist (AdOps) based in Barcelona, who wants to apply their skills and experience to take their career to the next level and help AudioStack scale.

As a Programmatic Specialist at AudioStack, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our clients' audio and video campaigns, working directly with our media vendor ad ops teams and DSP teams to ensure successful campaign activation end to end. You will collaborate closely with sales, customer success, and technical teams to ensure campaigns are set up correctly, monitored, and optimized for performance. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, data-driven media solutions to our clients and ensuring they achieve their campaign objectives.

What you will be doing?

  • Lead troubleshooting of technical issues across all campaigns to ensure campaign success - direct and programmatically set up campaigns.
  • Become an expert in our product, being the go-to person for any campaign queries both internally and externally.
  • Day-to-day management, optimisation, reporting and quality assurance of all active client audio and video campaigns to ensure delivery.
  • Write queries for reporting and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Pro-active responsibility for all new and existing campaigns for correct configuration, operation, suggesting improvements, and sharing best practices.
  • Work with our partners’ ad ops teams directly and programmatically - DSPs, Audio and Video Media Vendors, Analytics, Measurement and Data Providers.
  • Own the integration and onboarding process of any new partners (i.e., DSPs, 3rd party data, measurements and analytics, partner's adserver, etc.).
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
  • Work closely with clients and partners to test campaigns and ensure they’re functioning as expected.
  • Support the global Ad Sales team to ensure campaign success.
  • Write and improve best practices documentation when necessary.
  • Keep up to date with industry and technical developments in the Advertising space.
  • Manage the support process for our customers so that there is always help on hand.
  • Work to understand the data we gather and how we can aggregate and share through analytics and dashboards to increase overall understanding of our product.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Programmatic Specialist/Ad Operations role, either at a DSP, Publisher, or an Ad Tech environment (TTD, Google, Xandr, Triton, Adswizz, etc.).
  • Confident in your knowledge of programmatic advertising in audio and video, and how all the pieces fit together.
  • Understanding of the intricacies of the wider ad-tech ecosystem (VAST, VPAID, DSPs, DMPs, programmatic in general).
  • Confident in your knowledge of ad serving technologies (e.g., VAST) and the ad-tech ecosystem in general.
  • Excellent knowledge of the industry, competitor products, third-party technology, data vendors, and market trends.
  • Be inquisitive and eager to understand how everything works and how you can make it better.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in analysing issues and communicating them effectively to all necessary parties.
  • Programming experience in any language is a plus.
