You will play a key role in thedesign, development, and qualification of advanced power subsystemsfor spacecraft platforms, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across systems, electrical, and mechanical engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and developDC-DC converters, power distribution units (PDUs), and battery management systemsfor satellite applications.Performschematic design, component selection, circuit simulation, and PCB layout reviewsfor space-grade power systems.Conductworst-case, thermal, and radiation analysisto ensure compliance with ESA and ECSS standards.Supporthardware testing, validation, and environmental qualification(thermal vacuum, vibration, EMC).Collaborate with systems engineers to definepower budgets, interface requirements, and redundancy strategies .Generate and maintaintechnical documentation , test procedures, and design reports throughout the development lifecycle.Provide technical support during integration and launch campaign phases.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree inElectrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field .3+ yearsof experience inpower electronics design —preferably within theaerospace, defense, or high-reliability sectors .Strong understanding ofDC/DC converter topologies ,power conditioning , andcontrol loop design .Experience withSPICE simulation tools (LTspice, PLECS, etc.)andAltium Designer or similar CAD tools .Familiarity withECSS or ESA standards ,space-qualified components , andradiation effects mitigation techniques .Proficiency inEnglish(written and spoken);Spanishis an advantage.Desirable SkillsExperience withFPGA-controlled power systemsordigital power regulation .Knowledge ofbattery systems, solar array regulation, or EPS architecturesfor satellites.Hands-on experience withhardware testing, debugging, and validationin laboratory environments.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary and relocation package (if applicable). xcskxlj Opportunity to work oncutting-edge European satellite missions .Supportive, international engineering environment with career development pathways.
