Aerospace & Defense | Advanced UAV Technologies | Systems & Network Administrator | Hybrid - MadridAs aSystems & Networks Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing, securing, and optimizing a diverse IT landscape. Acting as a true “jack of all trades,” you’ll work across cloud, network, and enterprise platforms, with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and security. Administor, monitor, and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, Entra ID, Intune). Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including identity sources, networking, security controls, HPC environments, SAML integrations, and Route53. Support Windows Server environments (Active Directory, file services, patching, backups). Administer and customize Jira and Confluence to support engineering and business workflows. Support network infrastructure operations including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, site connectivity, and basic SD-WAN. Design and maintain network architectures and subnet allocations for new and existing facilities. Apply security best practices across systems and networks, including monitoring, compliance, and incident readiness. Troubleshoot complex issues spanning systems, networks, cloud platforms, and SaaS applications. Act as a senior escalation point for IT support specialists. Contribute to IT strategy, continuous improvement initiatives, and technical roadmaps. Maintain clear documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.Proven knowledge ofZero Trust principlesand modern cybersecurity frameworks (e.g.Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, and VPNs. Hands-on experience as aMicrosoft 365 Administrator, covering identity, access control, device management, monitoring, and incident response. Experience withautomation and scriptingusing tools such asPowerShell, Python, or Bash.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience. ~5+ years’ experience in systems and network administration across mixed environments. ~ Experience managingAWS infrastructure, including IAM, security groups, networking, and service configuration. ~ StrongWindows Server and Active Directoryexpertise. ~ Experience administeringJira and Confluence. ~ Exposure toLinux administration(basic to intermediate). ~ Knowledge ofvirtualization technologies(VMware/Hyper-V) and storage solutions. ~ Experience withmonitoring platforms(PRTG, SolarWinds, CloudWatch, SIEM/SOC tools). ~ Exposure toDevOps practicesand CI/CD tooling. ~ Relevant certifications such asAWS Associate/Professional, Network+, CCNA, or Security+ . ~ Certifications such as Microsoft 365, AWS, Network+, CCNA, or Security+ are advantageous but not essential.International Collaboration– Partner with highly skilled teams across multiple countries. ~#
