We drive change by bringing together talent and energy to continue revolutionizing the sector.Are you ready to take on the challenge?We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Modelling Specialist to join our Investment Analysis & Modeling team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of PV and BESS systems and advanced modelling techniques in order to develop the energy model and integrate it in the financial model for the analysis of projects. This role involves developing, validating, and optimizing energy and financial models for the analysis of BESS and Hybrid projects (in all the development-to-operation stages) to support the investment decisions of Grenergy.Main tasks:Work closely with the team to lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of PV and BESS projects. Prepare and manage complex financial models for investment analysis and risk assessment. Develop accurate energy models of battery energy storage systems. Collaborate with engineering, energy and operations teams to implement optimized energy solutions in the models. Collaborate with the Structured Finance and M&A teams to implement optimized solutions in the financial models. Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and external stakeholders, communicating key findings, recommendations, and insights effectively. Stay updated with the latest advancements in BESS technology and modelling techniques.Requirements:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Energy Systems, Applied Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. 5 years’ experience in modelling with focus in the economical and financial valuation of projects in all the Development-to-Operation stages. Proficiency in Excel and Python. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of power systems and, renewable energy.
