The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing different categories, ensuring the highest quality and cost‑efficiency.ResponsibilitiesStrategy & PlanningProvide data and insight to Category Managers for strategy development (e.g., supplier performance trends, recurring issues, market analyses)Draft budget and support CatMan in its developmentLead supplier homologation, performance evaluation and KPI monitoringParticipate in supplier segmentation and input for risk assessmentsOperational Sourcing & ExecutionEnsure all procurement activities and business needs comply with category strategies and policiesLead execution of local tenders (RFXs), negotiate with local suppliers and contracts, including ESG clauses when needed, to drive the Sustainability strategyContribute to executing SBU-specific initiativesEnsure correct spending categorization, contract usage, and policy complianceMonitor performance of suppliers (incl. SRM), hold recurring meetings, keep data up to date, and facilitate sustainability meetings with key suppliers when neededSupport maintenance of SAP master data relevant to procurementManage price lists and keep them up to dateSupport blocked invoice resolutionValue DeliveryImplement savings and value‑creation initiatives, contributing to overall procurement targetsPerform basic cost and opportunity analyses to identify value‑creation opportunities (e.g., pricing/TCO assessments, benchmarking)Identify, formalize, and share insights with CatManMonitor and record savings and other impacts from procurement initiativesEnsure category supports broader business initiatives (e.g., ESG, innovation)Introduce the Sustainable Sourcing Manager to suppliers if neededCross‑functional CollaborationCollaborate closely with other functions (Finance, SC, Quality, Marketing, Sustainability, Innovation, Industrial, etc.) to align on operational priorities and ensure procurement process is followed and respected (e.g., in NPD projects)What can you expect from us?
