Design and implementHigh Availability (HA) andDisaster Recovery (DR) solutions (Oracle RAC, Data Guard, AlwaysOn, streaming replication). Plan and executeinstallations, upgrades, migrations, and patchingactivities. Performbackup, recovery, and performance tuningto ensure optimal reliability and efficiency. Managedatabase security, user access, and auditing processes.ManageLinux and Windows servershosting critical database and application workloads. Performsystem monitoring, patching, configuration, and hardeningto maintain stability and security. Collaborate with infrastructure teams onvirtualization, storage, and networkingrequirements. Automateoperational tasks usingBash, PowerShell, or Pythonscripting. Contribute tocloud infrastructure operations(Azure, Oracle Cloud) with a focus on hybrid environments.Participate inIncident, Problem, and Change Managementprocesses following ITIL standards. Document and maintainsystem and database configurationsand procedures. Providetechnical support and troubleshootingfor database and system-related incidents. Collaborate cross-functionally withDevOps, Networking, and Application teams.5+ years of experience as aDatabase Administratorin enterprise environments. ~ Strong expertise inOracle Database (12c/19c or newer) and solid experience withMS SQL ServerandPostgreSQL. ~ Experience administeringLinux (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux) andWindows Serversystems. ~ Understanding ofcloud database services(Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). ~ Hands-on experience withHA/DR, performance tuning, anddatabase monitoring tools(OEM, Grafana, Prometheus). ~ Familiarity withautomation and IaC practices(Terraform, Ansible). ~ Certifications such asOracle Certified Professional (OCP) ,Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, orRed Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are highly valued. ~ Fluent inEnglish(spoken and written).Reliable and structured, with a focus on quality and operational excellence.
