Strategic Leadership Develop and implement thesupply chain strategyfor Spain & North Africa, aligning with the company’s long-term goals andregional market dynamics. Drivecost optimization, process efficiency, and risk mitigationacross procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Leaddigital transformation initiatives, includingautomation, AI, and data analytics, tailored to North African operational challenges. 2. Regional Operational Excellence Overseeprocurement, logistics, and inventory managementfor Spain & North Africa, ensuringtimely delivery, quality, and compliancewith local regulations (e.g., Algerian/Libyan customs, import/export laws). Ensure adherence toHSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standardsandregulatory requirementsin each country. Optimizesupply chain resilience, continuity planning, and crisis managementfor the region (e.g., geopolitical risks, port delays, currency fluctuations). 3. Procurement & Vendor Management Leadstrategic sourcing and vendor negotiationsfor Spain & North Africa, focusing onlocal content compliance, cost efficiency, and supplier diversity. Managevendor performance, contracts, and SLAs (Service Level Agreements)in alignment with regional business needs. Developlocal supplier networksand partnerships to enhance supply chain agility. 4. Logistics & Inventory Optimization Overseelogistics operations, includingtransportation, warehousing, and distributionacross North Africa. Implementinventory optimization strategiesto reduce costs and improve turnover. Coordinate withfreight forwarders, customs brokers, and local authoritiesto ensure smooth cross-border operations. 5. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate withexecutive leadership, regional operations, finance, and external partnersto align supply chain with business needs. Build and maintainrelationships with vendors, logistics providers, and industry stakeholdersin North Africa. Engage withlocal governments, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholdersto ensure compliance and smooth operations. 6. Performance Management MonitorKPIs, metrics, and performance dashboardsfor procurement, logistics, and inventory across the region. Implementcontinuous improvement initiatives(e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Conductregular audits and risk assessmentsto mitigate supply chain disruptions. 7. Digital Transformation & Data Analytics Drivedigital transformationin supply chain processes, includingERP systems (SAP, Oracle), AI, and predictive analytics. Implementdata-driven decision-making toolsto optimize procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Ensurecybersecurity and data privacy compliancefor regional operations. 8. Team Leadership & Talent Development Lead theProcurement, Logistics, Inventory, and Digital Transformation teamsfor Spain & North Africa. Developtalent pipelines and succession plansfor regional supply chain roles. Foster aculture of continuous learning and innovationwithin the team. 9. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance withlocal labor laws, customs regulations, and HSE standardsin each North African country. Managetrade compliance, sanctions, and anti-bribery policies(e.g., OFAC, EU regulations). Developcontingency plansfor geopolitical, economic, or operational risks in the region.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree inSupply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience: 15+ years of supply chain experience, with at least5 years in a senior leadership role(e.g., Supply Chain Director, VP Supply Chain). Proven track record instrategic sourcing, logistics, inventory optimization, and digital transformationinSpain and/or North Africa. Experience in theOil & Gas, energy, or industrial sectorishighly preferred. Knowledge ofNorth African business practices, customs regulations, and local content laws(e.g., Algerian Law 08-01, Libyan regulations). Skills: Strongstrategic planning, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Expertise inERP systems (SAP, Oracle), data analytics, and supply chain digital tools. Knowledge ofHSE standards, trade compliance, and risk managementin North Africa. Excellentleadership, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesin a multicultural environment. Ability tonavigate geopolitical and economic risksin the region. Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish(mandatory).
