Hey, future candidate We are seeking an experienced Retention Manager to take full ownership of Weekendesk’s user retention strategy, encompassing CRM, lifecycle management, loyalty programs, user engagement, and repeat rate performance across all markets. This role will be based in our Barcelona office. Ready to take on the challenge?Your Role at Weekendesk You’ll be theend-to-end owner of CRM across all Weekendesk markets (FR, ES, BE, NL, IT). Full strategy. Full execution. Full impact.You will own the full CRM & lifecycle strategy across all markets and build automated journeys in Insider (email, push notifications, onsite personalization, SMS, WhatsApp).KPIs You’ll Drive Email revenue contribution Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) Retention & repeat booking rate Automation coverage (% of CRM fully automated)What You’ll Do CRM & Lifecycle Execution Own allemail marketing : newsletters, transactional emails, and automated journeys Design and optimizeretargeting, abandoned booking, and re-engagement flows Leadpush notificationstrategy with strong cross-channel orchestration Drivesegmentation, personalization, and continuous testing(content, timing, formats)Retention & LTV Growth Build and scaleretention programs(loyalty, early access, referrals, win-back) Act as theLTV owner , identifying churn points and lifecycle opportunities Partner closely withProduct, UX/UI, and Techto align CRM with product experienceContent & Innovation Develophigh-impact CRM content strategiesto drive engagement and conversion Lead innovative initiatives (e.g. AI-generated guides, travel inspiration, buyer resources) Ensure CRM actions are reflectedon-sitevia personalized experiencesData & Optimization Track and report CRM performance (OR, CTR, conversion, LTV) Own a strongA/B testing frameworkwithin Insider Work with Data teams to ensureclean, usable customer dataDoes This Sound Like You? 3+ years of experience inCRM, lifecycle, or marketing automation , with strong ownership of email and retention Hands-on experience withInsideror a similar enterprise CRM platform Systems thinker, comfortable buildingscalable workflows, triggers, segmentation, and personalization Experience withomnichannel CRM(email, push, SMS, WhatsApp, onsite personalization) Strongtesting and optimization mindset(A/B testing, insights-driven decisions) Comfortable with data: reading dashboards, defining metrics, spotting patterns Proven experience buildingautomated journeys, transactional emails, and retention programsthat drive repeat bookings and LTV Curious, experimental, and continuously looking to improve AI-enthusiast , already using AI tools for copy, insights, testing, or personalization Clear, warm writing style aligned with theWeekendesk brandPerks & Benefits ✨ Meal Vouchers:5€/day net (Ticket Restaurant) to keep you fueled ;) Hybrid Work Model:3 days at the office, 2 remote, plus 10 home office days per year.
