We are leaders on digital technology services, and we provide large-scale technologic solutions to big companies.🔎 What are we looking for?We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Engineer with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Azure SQL Server, and Azure Managed Instance and Oracle. The ideal candidate should have strong performance tuning skills for both SQL Server and Oracle and be capable of designing, optimizing, and managing enterprise-level database solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. 📍Location: 100% remote for people based in Spain📋 Requirements for the role:Qualifications & Experience: • 10+ years of experience in database engineering, administration and performance tuning. • Strong expertise in Oracle (PL/SQL, indexing, partitioning) and Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing). • Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server, Azure Managed Instance, and cloud-based database solutions. • Proficiency in SSRS (reporting services) and SSIS (ETL development). • Advanced SQL query optimization, execution plans analysis, and performance tuning skills. • Experience with high-availability configurations (Always On, clustering, replication, log shipping). • Knowledge of database security, auditing, and compliance. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex database environments. • Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder collaboration. • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional are preferred. 🔗 What you’ll do• Design, implement, and manage Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases for high-performance applications. • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and index management for both SQL Server and Oracle databases. • Administer and support Azure SQL Server and Azure Managed Instance, ensuring security, high availability, and scalability. • Develop and maintain SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) solutions. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance issues, replication failures, and security vulnerabilities. • Work with development and operations teams to optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures. • Manage backup and disaster recovery strategies, including database replication, mirroring, and failover clustering. • Implement database security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption strategies. 💰What can we offer?✈️ 23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days❤️ Numerous benefits (Health Care Plan, teleworking compensation, Life and Accident Insurances).🍴 `Retribución Flexible´ Program: (Meals, Kinder Garden, Transport, online English lessons, Health Care Plan…)🎓 Free access to several training platforms🚀 Professional stability and career plans🚶 UST also, compensates referrals from which you could benefit when you refer professionals.🔗 The option to pick between 12 or 14 payments along the year.🏡 Real Work Life Balance measures (flexibility, WFH or remote work policy, compacted hours during summertime…)🎁 UST Club Platform discounts and gym Access discounts📧 If you would like to know more, don’t hesitate to apply and we’ll get in touch to fill you in detail.
