What Youll Do
Plan, construct, and upkeep front-end (Unity) and back-end services (APIs, microservices, databases) for improved tools and streamlined workflows.
Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance features that integrate with existing game codebases and infrastructure.
Build and maintain custom Unity editor tools to automate repetitive tasks, such as content creation workflows, build pipelines, and performance checks.
Leverage Unity s scripting APIs to integrate AI services and automate manual steps in the development and liveops processes.
Develop and optimize server-side applications and microservices that power AI features, data processing, and real-time analytics.
Collaborate with DevOps team on CI/CD pipelines for automating testing, deployment, and monitoring of solutions.
Work closely with data scientists and AI specialists to integrate machine learning models, autonomous agents, and other advanced AI techniques into Unity and backend systems.
Assess new AI tools and frameworks to understand if they are feasible for integration and provide value for the business.
Implement automated testing strategies to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and existing systems.
Partner with game developers, architects, and product managers to identify challenges and opportunities for automation and AI application.
Document designs, workflows, and standard methodologies for broader internal adoption.
Proactively identify areas for optimization, new tools, or process improvements.

What Were Looking For
5+ years of professional experience in full stack development, preferably within a gaming context.
1+ years of professional experience in AI and Automation development and implementation.
Proficiency in Unity (C#) with proven experience crafting editor tools, game modules, or liveops features.
Strong back-end development experience with a modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or Node.js) and frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET, Django, Express).
Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and crafting RESTful APIs or microservices architectures.
Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD practices and tools (Git, Docker, Jenkins, etc.).
Shown understanding of software engineering standard processes (design patterns, code reviews, testing, and version control).
Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work multi-functionally in an agile environment.
Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI APIs) or integrating third-party AI services is a plus.
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including serverless computing, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code is a plus.
Familiarity with gaming analytics, real-time multiplayer systems, or other liveops-related technologies is a plus.
Enthusiasm for gaming and a strong interest in the future of game development technology is beneficial.
