If you thrive on building robust data ecosystems and love automation, this is your opportunity💼 About the company: Our client is a global leader in technology innovation, operating with a distributed model and a high-caliber team of experts.📍 Location: Remote from Spain (mandatory) | Project based in UK💰 Salary: Up to 75K + competitive benefits🔑 Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect automated ingestion frameworks in GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage)Develop Python-based ETL/ELT pipelines following Medallion principlesAutomate ingestion of structured data (CSV, Excel, JSON)Apply data validation using Pandera or similar toolsManage orchestration with Cloud Composer, Airflow, Dataflow, or DagsterOptimize pipeline performance and scalabilityCollaborate with backend engineers and data consumersDocument processes and standards for clarity and traceability🎯 What We’re Looking For8+ years of experience in data engineeringStrong Python and SQL/NoSQL proficiencyProven expertise with GCP BigQuery, Cloud StorageHands-on experience with ETL/ELT design and schema validationExperience with Airflow, Dagster, or similar orchestration frameworksGit-based version control and CI/CD automationUnderstanding of observability and auditability across data workflowsProficient English level, both written and spokenPreferred:Lakehouse experience (Databricks, Delta Lake)Familiarity with FastAPI or backend integrationDomain knowledge in climate analytics, ESG, or data governance👉 Ready to take the next step?Work on cutting-edge data solutions, collaborate with top-tier professionals, and make an impact in a global tech environment.
