Senior Data Scientist to join an international client, based in Barcelona. You will work on challenging projects that require applying advanced metaheuristic techniques to find pseudo-optimal solutions to complex problems. As a Senior Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include:Evaluate and fine-tune optimization algorithms to ensure they meet performance criteria. Perform sensitivity analyses to understand the impact of various constraints and parameters Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance and effectiveness of solutions, conducting regular assessments and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or similar areas. Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Scipy), as well as optimization-focused libraries like PuLP, Pyomo, and metaheuristic frameworks such as Mealpy, DEAP and Optuna. Certifications in AI, data science, or project management (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty) are a plus.
