Head of Sales / Business Development Executive – SpainEV Charging OEM Spain (Remote, with travel across the region)Brightsmith is working with a leading global EV charging solutions provider, driving the transition to sustainable mobility with cutting-edge AC and DC charging technology. With a strong presence across Asia and ambitious expansion plans in Europe, the business is now looking to establish its footprint in Spain as part of its next growth phase.They are seeking a dynamic, self-starting Head of Sales / Business Development Executive to lead the company’s entry and growth into Europe to be based out of Spain with a primary focus on AC charging solutions but also with DC charging offerings available too. As the first hire in the market, this individual will play a pivotal role in building relationships, acquiring key installer and CPO partners, and establishing the company’s brand presence.This is a hands-on, hunter role — ideal for a senior commercial professional with established industry relationships who can generate traction quickly and drive new business independently.Responsibilities:Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with installers, CPOs, and strategic partnersBuild the customer base from the ground up — generating leads, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growthProvide market intelligence and customer feedback to shape commercial and product strategyRepresent the company at industry events and trade shows, strengthening brand visibility and credibilityCollaborate with European and global leadership teams to inform regional strategy.Lay the foundation for a future local sales team as the business scales across Europe and set a Go-to-market strategy for the team to followQualifications:5+ years of experience in Sales / Business Development, ideally within EV charging, electrical infrastructure, or renewable energyProven hunter mentality — demonstrated success in developing new markets and winning key accountsStrong network within the installer and CPO (Charge Point Operator) communityFluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are a plusSelf-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to operate autonomously in a start-up environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsBased in Spain with flexibility for national and regional travelWhy Apply:Opportunity to be the first market representative for a Global brand, shaping the company’s Spanish and European growthCompetitive base salary with strong performance-based incentivesA chance to join a high-growth, mission-driven organization at an early stage of its European journey.Clear professional growth path as the European team expandsIf you're interested in applying, please click the 'easy apply' button.
